Erik Ashkenov

A serial tech entrepreneur & investor, Erik began his career in the retail sector of several international banks, including ABN AMRO, Royal Bank of Scotland, and HSBC. In 2010, he joined the team of Intercomp, a leading outsourcing company, where he successfully grew the business by a factor of 30+ and established new offices in Azerbaijan and Georgia over the next 10 years. In 2018, Erik took a part in the sale of the Intercomp business he had grown to one of the largest banks in the CIS region.

In 2021, he founded an outsourcing company Alphion focusing on automation of financial and HR functions, which has achieved a revenue of USD 2 million in 2022. Erik is an active member of the UMAY Angels Investment Club and serves as a member and advisor in the VQ Business Club. He is also an early investor in ProsperPay, a start-up that offers an Early Wage Access service.
